For women: long dresses, or elegant separates; tasteful heels or dressy flats; remember to bring an extra something as it might get chilly, especially before the guaro comes out.
For men: bring out your tux.
Bogotá is about 8,500 ft above sea level, right in the middle of the mountains. So it gets cold at night. Since it's close to the Equator, the temperature doesn't change through the year. It should be between 8 and 14 degrees Celsius (45 to 60 Fahrenheit).

This is a mountain peak that you can go to through a funicular car or you can also do a hike to get to the top (be aware that it's a tough 45 minute hike at altitude). The view from the top is absolutely gorgeous.
WebsiteTejo is a classic Colombian game where you throw a rock against a clay backdrop, while trying to hit a triangle full of gunpowder that sticking against a rim. When you strike it, a big boom happens and everyone naturally celebrates drinking a round.

We kindly ask guests to dress accordingly to the occasion. We promise that it'll be worth it!
Medellín, where Andrea is from, is absolutely gorgeous. It's known as the city of eternal spring, filled with greens and some of the nicest people in the country. If you're feeling like doing some nature trips, you can check out la piedra del peñol. Cartagena is another must. "La Fantástica" is known for it's beautiful old city, caribbean weather, bustling nightlife and spectacular gastronomy.
Please check back soon on this item as we're currently planning the best way for guests to get there.
We recommend that guests have a full day to acclimate to the altitude. If you aren't used to it, coming to Bogotá can cause symptoms of mild altitude sickness. You'll get a mild headache and feel tired, but it lasts less than 24 hours.
Yes, but like any big city, there are neighborhoods where you don't want to be at. Be aware of your surrounding and remember to "no dar papaya". That is, don't go showing off your fancy phone or watch on the street of the city. A little common sense goes a long way.
The best and easiest way to move around is using Uber. Please don't hail cabs on the street.
Please check back soon as we're currently planning this.
